Satisfy Your Cravings: Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies are a delicious treat that combines two beloved flavors: peanut butter and chocolate. 
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Mini peanut butter cups, unwrapped (as many as you'd like)
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a cookie dough forms.
  6. Scoop out portions of cookie dough and roll them into balls. Place these dough balls on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Flatten each dough ball slightly with the back of a fork, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
  8. Press a mini peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
